Be on time for class.
Classes are closed 10 minutes after starting. No exceptions.

Spinning classes are closed at the start of the class. Participants should arrive 5 minutes early to up set up their bikes.

Classes

The Ridge Club’s Aerobic Center has been developed with an adult membership in mind. Our class selection is determined by both membership input and awareness of directions within the industry. All instructors have industry certifications. This ensures that all classes are taught in a professional and safe manner.

We recommend that you join a class which meets with your current exercise level. If your schedule allows you to only take a higher level class, modify the intensity. It is recommended that you inform the instructor before class begins that you are going to modify. Please do not modify upward.

Class cancellations and club closures due to hazardous weather or snow will correspond with local school cancellations. Afternoon classes may be subject to closing at the discretion of the management, if attendance does not increase and it is recommended that you check with the front desk if you have any questions.

Our Types of Classes are listed below.

BODY SCULPTING/TONING - Resistance training using free weights, bands, tubing or your body against gravity. This is meant to decrease fat and increase lean mass.
CARDIOBLAST – A high intensity, physically challenging body conditioning class. Use weights, bars, steps and bands for a challenging hour of conditioning
CARDIOCIRCUIT – Alternating segments of aerobics designed to get your heart pumping and burn fat, and toning exercises using weights, to create a full body workout
CARDIO KICKBOXING – Combines creative choreograpy and kickboxing moves and techniques to create an effective cardio workout that conditions your body. A 5 minute review of Jabs, Front and Back kicks, Cross-punches, etc. will be incorporated in each class so new comers and experts are welcome.
CORE CONNECTION - Combine the best of a variety of techniques. Focusing on the low back, abdominal, gluteal and thigh areas, this intense, yet gentle workout will leave you feeling toned, stretched, and taller.
MELT – This is connective tissue release work, utilizing foam bolsters and small balls.
PILATES - This class will strengthen and tone your muscles, while simultaneously improve your flexibility by working on elongation and postural core strength improvements.
SPINNING - a unique group exercise class on stationary bikes. Classes are designed to burn a maximum amount of calories and increase cardio strength. The class is geared to benefit both novices and experienced riders.
TGIF - Get your weekend off to a great start. A 30 minute aerobic segment designed to get your heart pumping and burn fat followed by 30 minutes of toning and conditioning work for the whole body.
YOGA - Using breathing techniques, stretching, and posture, bring yourself into a relaxed and focused state of mind. Release tension, restore, and bring a new and balanced energy.
YOGA MODE and YOGA STRETCH – Work on flexibility, utilizing some basic yoga moves and traditional stretching
